The Author meets performance poet Gary Chutney.
Chutney was a favourite of the disgraced
ex-Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone,
who had wanted Chutney to open the 2012 Olympics
with an epic protest poem about the sexual oppression
of men in frocks by the Metropolitan Police.
But Chutney couldn't think of anything.

  1. Can you give us a sample of one of Gary Chutney's poems?

  2. Chutney's verse is too long and tangled to quote here but you might search out a copy of his epic poem "The One Hundred Martyrs" written to honour "the London lady-boys kidnapped and tortured by the secret police during Thatcher's evil reign of terror"
