    Do you ever worry that if you are sent off to war that it might ruin your lovely uniform?

    The Author never saw active service.
    His only action was playing the part of a palace guard at the court of
    Prince Charming for an amateur production of the Christmas pantomime Sleeping Beauty. It was a non-speaking part.
